ROBERTO MAGGI ha lavorato per oltre trent’anni quale archeologo paletnologo presso la Soprintendenza per i beni archeologici della Liguria. E’ attualmente docente a contratto di Ecologia Preistorica presso la Scuola di Specializzazione in beni archeologici dell’Università di Genova. I suoi interessi vertono sull’archeologia delle risorse ambientali. Fra varie attività, nel 1990, insieme a G.WW. Barker e R.Nisbet, ha organizzato il convegno The archaeology of pastoralism in Southern Europe. Nel 1997 ha edito il volume Arene Candide: a functional and environmental assessment of the Holocene sequence.
ROBERTO MAGGI has been working for over thirty years as an archaeologist palethnologist at the Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Liguria. He is currently contract lecturer of Prehistoric Ecology at the School of Specialization in archaeological heritage of the University of Genoa. His research interests concern mainly the archeology of environmental resources. Among various activities, in 1990, along with G.WW. Barker and R.Nisbet, organized the symposium The archeology of pastoralism in Southern Europe. In 1997 he published the volume Arene Candide: a functional and environmental assessment of the Holocene sequence.
